What theoretical perspectives do adolescent readers bring to bear on a text?

A difficult question I think – one that perhaps merits analysis – but meanwhile, perhaps it is easier to propose the theories that teachers might be using when introducing the texts?

Poststructural

moralistic evaluation of children’s books (based on… religious theories, etc.)
