Angels Cut - Elizabeth Knox

Elizabeth Knox writes: “For me there are various forms of communion in writing: one is with my readers, another with language and the last with my characters.”  p113 in: ELIZABETH KNOX “HEAT.” Sport, Nov 1993; n.11:p.111-114

I love this idea that there is a real conference taking place within any text – one in which the author, the reader, the language and the characters are all participating to negotiate a meaningful fictional path. Cool!
